Juse Ju

Ableton Programming

Juse Ju tears a hole in the clouds. His 2023 sound model of grime, trap and drill does not wobble and sing along, but cuts a clear path through rap, society and the protagonist himself. And of course through his audience when he conducts a mosh pit, as he does at almost every concert. After a 2-year break, Juse Ju releases two new EPs in 2023.

After his breakthrough coming-of-age album Shibuya Crossing (2018) and the chart success Millennium (2020 - number 11), Juse Ju is now focusing on the crisis-ridden here and now. Juse's strength lies in always having a punchline in the corner of his mouth behind every sad truth and incorporating a call for liberation into every aggressively frustrated battle verse. Liberation from the pressure to perform, traditional images of masculinity and brand fetishes.

And so, even in times of crisis, Juse Ju's music is always about hope. Juse once said in an interview that he "only feels truly free on stage". This energy can always be felt at his ecstatic and sometimes comedy-like live shows. Over the years, Juse Ju has secretly blossomed into one of the best live MCs in the country, who doesn't need a back-up and certainly doesn't need playbacks to bring his horsepower to the stage.

For his 2023 tour including 15 dates throughout Germany, Austria and several festivals, PLAYRACKS worked with Juse Ju on their live setup, ableton programming, rack build and joined he on tour, operating ableton and drumming.
